About
About Card Value Scanner
Card Value Scanner is an Android app for identifying Pokémon Trading Card Game cards with the camera and checking a market price reference. This page explains what the app does, where its prices come from and what you can find on this website.
What the app does
Scan a card with the camera, or look it up by name, then:
- See the matched card with its set, number and rarity.
- Check a market price reference and the date it was updated.
- Keep a running total while you scan several cards.
- Save cards to decks and see the value of each deck.
Where card data and prices come from
Card details and market price references come from the Pokémon TCG API, which provides TCGplayer market data in US dollars. Prices change over time and are references, not offers. What a card sells for also depends on condition and demand.
What you will find on this site
pokemontcgapp.com explains the app, offers free browser tools for preparing a scan and adding up a list of cards, and publishes practical guides for collectors. The site is available in eight languages.
